At 71 years young, I\u2019ve had the privilege of working nearly three decades in the hotel and restaurant industry, serving in purchasing and receiving at renowned establishments such as the Four Seasons, Westin, and The Wit Hotel in downtown Chicago.<\/p>\n
In more recent years, I\u2019ve spent time behind the wheel as an Uber driver, connecting with people from all walks of life. However, following significant changes to Uber\u2019s compensation structure, I made the decision to pivot toward something more personally fulfilling and sustainable. That decision led me to self-publishing on Amazon KDP\u2014an opportunity to combine creativity with entrepreneurship while working to reduce my driving hours and establish long-term financial stability.<\/p>\n

Family is the heartbeat of everything I do. My wife and I have been happily married for 24 years, and we\u2019ve shared 37 wonderful years of life together. We are blessed with two incredible adult children\u2014our daughter, a registered nurse currently pursuing her Ph.D., and our son, a Sergeant in the correctional system working toward his promotion to Lieutenant. They\u2019ve given us five beautiful grandchildren who fill our lives with love, laughter, and purpose.<\/p>\n
