We exist to connect families to their local Lake Country communities through our events, bringing families to the community. Our top events are Hartland Kids Day, Swim with a Mermaid in Brookfield, Lake Country Currents held throughout Waukesha County, and Love Your Belly held in Oconomowoc. We simplify finding fun activities for families and visitors. We have a GUIDE for nearly everything local and family, plus our popular Weekend Guide with things to do every weekend of the year! Find local parks, playgrounds, indoor play spaces, beaches, community pools, hiking trails, biking trails and more! Lastly, we provide parenting tips and resources. Parenting is easier in a village setting, join ours – plus our Facebook group!
Lake Country Family Fun is run by a team of women, with Erin Guenterberg at the helm. Erin is native to Wisconsin, choosing to continue living and raising her family here. She was a wife to a hard-working man, and is a mother to two adventurous daughters. Erin now spends most of her free time enjoying lake activities, especially paddleboarding, cozying up with a good book, traveling, and practicing yoga at her favorite local hot yoga studio. You can find her and her daughters at most community events and she always welcomes a hello!
Erin thrives at creating community (both on and offline), supporting local businesses, giving back to the community and promoting and hosting amazing local events such as those listed above. She takes an active role in the Lake Country area where she has grown strong friendships and ties to the community through her volunteer work as a past board member of the Oconomowoc Newcomers and Neighbors, Gals on the Go Project, and current position on the board of the Friends of Imagination Station, Oconomowoc Splash Pad Committee, and Oconomowoc Library Planning Committee. Through Erin’s leadership, Lake Country Family Fun is also a proud member of the Delafield Chamber of Commerce, where she was nominated and awarded the “Spirit of Delafield” award in April 2024 (for the year 2023). Erin has also been recognized, nominated, and was a member of the inaugural Milwaukee KNOW Women as well.
