With a team of approximately 24 team members we are staffed to handle pet and human needs 7 days per week from 7am-7pm Monday-Friday and 8am-6pm Saturday-Sunday. We pride ourselves in being easily available via phone, text, chat, email or talking in person!

At Idlewire Pet Care your canine family member gets lots of space and attention!

We have large indoor runs and a half acre of green, woodsy yard for your pet to play in. All dogs are taken out for scheduled play times, social time or potty breaks throughout the day. Activities are completely customizable for your pet and your budget!

One dedicated groomer from start to finish will be sure your pet is comfortable and cared for throughout the entire grooming process. One on one styled service in a climate controlled environment.

We believe groomers should groom. We have a customer relations assistant during all business hours to answer calls, make appointments, communicate with customers, and cover the clerical aspects of all pet services from lodging to daycare to grooming! Your pet stylist can focus on what’s most important, your pet! Pet’s receive one on one care from check in to check out with only their groomer. This gives our stylists time to bond with your pet from the very beginning upon arrival.

All staff are required to become certified in pet CPR and First Aid. This certification process is offered through professional training specific to pets in our industry.

Socialization in a safe, controlled environment. Doggie friends will help burn off energy and stimulate the mind while teaching positive play behavior. Our All Day Play rotation allows for playtime all day with small groups of up to 7 while including scheduled breaks for a mental recharge!

Mountain Dog Adventures
Two hours of ultimate fun!
For the serious adventurer and the social butterfly. This activity allows dogs and handlers alike to explore the Northern Wasatch Front trails for 2 full hours.

Conscientious one on one dog and cat grooming in climate controlled facility in the Ogden Utah area. Awarded best groomer of northern Utah for 2024, 2023, and 2022. Focus on spring/summer haircuts, deshed treatments, pet spa days including facials and massage. “Stay, Play, Spa Day” is a theme for Idlewire Pet Care. Also, “We treat pets as if they were our own”.

Safe and Healthy Environment!
We have daily, hourly and periodic disinfecting/cleaning procedures using the best products in the industry. They are environmentally friendly and safe for pets. These products, along with air filtration/fresh air, help us minimize contagious pathogens while also serving as a harmless alternative for canine/feline use when compared to outdated products such as bleach.

The air in the lodging facility is exchanged out at least every 15 minutes using a fresh air exchanger to keep the environment fresh and safe. Air in all lodging spaces is continuously filtered using high quality 5” Merv 13 filtration . Contained UV lighting technology is used to further minimize contagious pathogens by killing any that may sneak by physical filtration.
