Eco Intimates is a boutique lingerie and sleepwear brand based in Australia, created for women who value comfort, natural fibers, sustainability, and thoughtful design. Founded by designer Madonna Bain, the label champions ethical production, natural materials, and a deep respect for both the environment and the female form. Each piece is handmade in small batches, crafted from organic cottons, bamboo, and low-tox textiles to support healthier choices for bodies and the planet.

The brand was born from Madonna’s desire to offer a softer, more conscious alternative to synthetic lingerie—something beautiful, practical, and intentionally made. After years in the fashion industry from retail to pattern making, she saw a gap in the market for natural intimates that embraced both elegance and eco-responsibility. Eco Intimates was her answer: a brand designed for women who want to feel naturally comfortable and supported every day, without compromising on style or sustainability.

What sets Eco Intimates apart is our unwavering dedication to craftsmanship and transparency. We work with skilled artisans in Bali, fostering long-term relationships and supporting small-scale makers rather than large factories. Many of our garments are cut and sewn by hand, with a level of detail that can’t be replicated by mass production. This approach not only ensures high quality but helps sustain ethical livelihoods for our team of makers.

We also focus exclusively on natural fibres—like GOTS-certified organic cotton, bamboo, and cotton voile—because we believe what we wear against our skin matters. Our lingerie is free from harsh synthetics and chemical dyes, making it kinder to your skin and more breathable throughout the day and night. Our designs are soft-cup, wire-free, and thoughtfully shaped for real women, with options for smaller and fuller busts alike.

Madonna Bain, the heart behind the brand, brings a deeply personal approach to her work. As both designer and founder, she handles everything from concept to customer care. Her background includes over two decades of experience in sustainable fashion and design, and she’s also the co-founder of Assembly Line—a consulting business that helps emerging brands bring their products to life ethically and thoughtfully. Madonna’s passion for slow fashion is matched by her creative process: many of Eco Intimates’ prints are designed in collaboration with her sister, a textile artist, giving each collection a truly original touch.

Eco Intimates currently offers three distinct ranges:

Base Range – Everyday essentials made from soft organic cotton jersey, designed for comfort and practicality.

Luxe Range – Signature styles with elegant lace trims and more refined silhouettes for a touch of everyday luxury.

Bella Range – Playful and romantic pieces made from organic cotton voile, custom prints, ruffles, and silky textures—perfect for those who want a little whimsy in their wardrobe.

Each piece is created with intention, whether it’s our best-selling Stella Long Line Bralette (a silver winner in the Clean + Conscious Awards), or our ruffle knickers and bamboo PJs that customers return to season after season. Our collections are released slowly and intentionally, often in small seasonal capsules to prevent waste and allow time for feedback and refinement. Pre-orders are offered as a sustainable production strategy, helping us minimise overstock and create only what’s needed.
